Timico Ltd was founded in 2004 by Tim Radford, former CEO of the extremely successful Project Telecom Plc which was sold to Vodafone in September 2003. Timico is a unified communications service provider providing businesses with a comprehensive solution for their entire communication needs including internet connectivity and services, fixed telephony and mobile solutions. They are led by a management team each with over 80 years’ experience and knowledge from across the IP and telecoms industry. The company moved into their purpose built offices in Newark, Nottinghamshire, in January 2007 and there is space for further expansion if they continue to grow as fast as they have over the past 5 years.

In September 2008 Timico achieved 4th place in the Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track listing of the UKs 100 fastest growing technology companies and just a few months ago their hosted VoIP service won the best ‘Unified Solutions for Business’ from the Internet Telephony Service Provider Association (ITSPA).

They have an extensive customer base of clients both large and small across the UK with household names such as BP, Murco, Vodafone and Paypoint. They have the collective experience in the telecommunications industry and mix of products and services to be able to provide a truly independent converged solution to help maximize budgets and improve business continuity. With the launch of Freshbaked Communications in 2006, they needed a supplier partner that they could rely on for connecting to O2 and Vodafone on the mobile networks coupled with a converged fixed line service that could be integrated onto a single monthly billing invoice.
