freshbaked takes on additional office space to aid expansion

freshbaked, the Cardiff-based business services group, has taken on new office space as the business continues on its ambitious expansion plans.

As the company continues to employ additional staff to aid this growth, it has taken on a further 1,600 square feet at The Maltings on the outskirts of Cardiff.

The new purpose built offices, which have been designed and fitted out by COS, the Complete Office Solution, house freshbaked Communications, freshbaked PR and latest addition to the Group, recruitment arm, freshbaked People.

Originally established as a training provider in 2004, freshbaked has grown substantially over the past five years. Initially occupying a 675 square feet office in House Three of the Grade II listed building, the company’s continued success allowed it to take on an additional 3,000 square feet of space in 2006 when the training divisions expanded, followed by 675 square feet of space when it established freshbaked Communications in 2007 and 600 square foot in 2008 with the formation of freshbaked PR. Now with 54 staff and six divisions, the group now occupies over 6,000 square feet.

Richard Matthews, managing director, of the freshbaked Group, says, “freshbaked is in a really exciting phase of our growth plans continuing to build on our offering through the formation of new divisions and strengthening these teams with the recruitment of talented staff.

“When we set out it was important for us to find offices that were modern, secure, reasonable and close to the majority of our clients who were in the city centre and The Maltings offered the ideal solution. Five years down the line, it still meets our requirements despite the fact that our business has grown and changed which is testament to the fantastic facilities on offer.
