Charity scoop for freshbaked PR
One of Wales’ newest PR agencies is welcoming a ‘cool’ addition to its team that promises to whip up the South Wales business community.
The affectionately named ‘Betsy’, a classic Bedford ice cream van, joins freshbaked™ PR, the most recent division established in the freshbaked™ Group, as it launches a new campaign to encourage Welsh businesses to ‘make a statement’ about their organisations.
The 1975 van has been given a new lease of life and lick of paint to bring it up to date with the 21st century and now is an eye-catching vehicle featuring freshbaked™’s trademark colours of lime green and purple and famous quotes from people who have made a statement.
Hitting the roads in time for the summer, freshbaked™ PR hope the van will be the perfect ice-breaker with businesses who want to find out more about public relations.
Betsy will be touring business parks across Wales and will be attending a number of social and business events throughout the summer offering free PR advice and specially created freshbaked™ 99 ice creams in return for a donation to the Group’s chosen charity Marie Curie Cancer Care. In addition, new clients who enlist the agency’s help will also be treated to a free visit.
Jonathan Hollins, managing director of freshbaked™ PR, says: “Our clients come to us because they want to be able to stand out from their competitors and raise their profile in a positive and innovative way. By showing just what we can do with an open brief, we hope that more Welsh businesses will turn to us as the first place when they want to make a statement about their achievements.”
