freshbaked secures place in Wales Fast Growth 50 Index

freshbaked is pleased to announce its inclusion in the 2008 Wales Fast Growth 50 index.

Growing consistently since its inception in 2004, freshbaked has been ranked 21 in the prestigious listing after 151.8% growth between 2005-2007.

Created by Professor Dylan Jones-Evans a decade ago, the Fast Growth 50 project promotes the development of growth in the Welsh economy through annually highlighting the fifty fastest growing Welsh ventures.

What started as a project to give Welsh-based firms the profile they deserve in an era of large inward investments has transformed into an annual event celebrating Welsh entrepreneurship at its best.

Established four years ago as a training provider, in 2006 freshbaked set up a Group structure diversifying into different fields. The Group now comprises freshbaked Training, freshbaked Corporate, freshbaked Business, freshbaked Communications, freshbaked PR and design agency Limegreentangerine.

Richard Matthews, group managing director says: “To be described as one of the 50 fastest growing firms in Wales out of a business population of 190,000 is a huge achievement for freshbaked and an important milestone in our evolution.

"The launch of the Group has been a major driver for the business as it has allowed us to expand and access new markets and being included in this listing is testament to the success our strategy to date.
