Fresh face for business division
Business improvement specialist freshbaked Business has strengthened its team with a new appointment as it continues to witness a huge demand for its services in the manufacturing sector.
The Cardiff-based company, which is part of the freshbaked Group, has appointed Don Carr as a Business Improvement Assessor.
As an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, Don, 52, from Cwmbran joins the team with over 30 years experience in engineering and lean manufacturing.
Having previously worked for automotive supplier ArvinMeritor, Don will be responsible for delivering and assessing Business Improvement Techniques that set out to improve the overall productivity and efficiency of manufacturing organisations.
Says managing director, Steve Allcock: “The manufacturing industry has been heavily affected by the downturn in the economy and many companies are beginning to realise the importance of reducing costs and improving productivity. The number of businesses turning to Business Improvement Techniques has risen significantly in the last few months and as such we’ve witnessed a huge demand for our services.”
