As one of Wales’ fastest growing companies, freshbaked™ is showing its support to an up and coming young cricketer from Tonteg.
Fifteen-year-old Michael Grossett has gained sponsorship from freshbaked in preparation for a week long tour of Dublin with Pentyrch Cricket Club.
The sponsorship will allow Michael to buy all important kit for the tour which will see the team take on three different teams.
The flourishing player is captain of the Llantwit Fardre and Pentyrch under 15’s cricket teams and having just moved up the ranks to play as a regular for the first teams at Llantwit and Pentyrch, Michael has also recently attended coaching sessions with Glamorgan Cricket Coach Richard Almond.
Group Managing Director, Richard Matthews, said: “Creating opportunities is one of our fundamental beliefs at freshbaked™, and we hope to be able to encourage and nurture Michael Grossett’s sporting talent.
“As an up and coming company, we appreciate the hard work and dedication that comes with establishing oneself. Cricket is an expensive sport so the sponsorship will allow him to concentrate fully on the game, whilst putting financial worries aside. We are proud to be able to help such an enthusiastic and gifted individual and wish him all the best on his tour.”
