Happy Birthday freshbaked - Well Done!

WOW, what an incredible journey the past three years have been. Ups, downs, high's and low's and that's just before 10am on a typical morning!

During the past three years freshbaked has achieved so much. We have a fantastic team, great clients, a new shiny office and passion and energy by the bucket load. 

Back in March 2006 freshbaked established a Group structure. Steve Allcock joined the Group as MD of freshbaked Buisness after 17 years’ experience in the automotive industry, while Vanessa White joined the Group as MD of freshbaked Corporate after spending much of her career with Virgin Atlantic.

freshbaked was orginally set up by my wife and I in January 2004 and grew to a turnover of £380,000 in our second year – and a place in The Western Mail ‘Hot 100’!

Now after three years with 24 staff in three divisions, freshbaked Group had a turnover of just under £1 million in 2006.

We now have a growing team of highly talented people who are committed to the freshbaked ethos, which is being three steps ahead. One step is easy, but for us one step isn’t enough. If we are only one step ahead, by the time we’re done working on an idea, it’ll be too late.

Two steps is tempting, two steps means that everyone understands what we are up to when we pitch an idea to them. Two steps is still a problem, because our smart competitors are three steps ahead.

Three steps changes the game, organisations that are three steps ahead are groundbreakers! Three steps is difficult though. It’s difficult to sell, even more difficult to build, and almost impossible to get your mother-in-law to understand!

Three steps – that’s what’s worth building!
