Starting in Glasbury and finishing in Hereford, the successful team - made up of managing director Richard Matthews, Matt Snelus and Damian Kelly of freshbaked™ Communications, Ellen Samothrakis of freshbaked™ Corporate and Emma Breeze and Lyndsey Jenkins of freshbaked™ PR - canoed the distance over two days while camping beneath the stars during the nights.

Managing director of freshbaked™ Group Richard Matthews said: “The weekend was a great success. It was a really rewarding experience and even the rain didn’t dampen our spirits. We managed raised a lot of money for Right to Play and we’d like to thank everyone who kindly sponsored and supported us in our efforts.
“A special thanks goes to Newport Round Table and the Wales Quality Centre who respectively win a Wales Grand Slam signed rugby shirt and a visit from Betsy, our ice cream van, for their impressive donations.”
Canoeing alongside teams from COS, Carlisle Finance, Admiral Group and Natural Power Wales, the combined fundraising effort topped £8,000 for the worthwhile cause.
