Fresh recruit for PR company

Cardiff-based public relations company, freshbaked PR, has expanded its team with a fresh appointment.

Sarah Taylor, 21, originally from Hampshire joins as a PR Executive as the company, which is part of the wider freshbaked business services group, continues to expand its client base.

A Cardiff University graduate Sarah, who obtained an LLB in Law, will focus predominantly on growing the business whilst also assisting in the delivery of public relations to current clients of the company which include Cardiff Devils, Budget Vets, ktsowensthomas, COS and the Just Love Food Company.

On her appointment Sarah said: “Freshbaked PR appealed to me because of its vibrant brand and diverse customer base. Since launching, freshbaked PR has accomplished a great deal in its relatively short history and I am looking forward to working closely with the team to take the company to the next level. Having recently graduated in Cardiff I am delighted to be beginning my career in public relations in south Wales, working with the growing team at freshbaked PR.”

Having worked part-time for a marketing and events company throughout her university degree, Sarah joins freshbaked PR with a wealth of promotional and events experience.

On Sarah’s appointment, managing director of freshbaked PR Jon Hollins said: “Sarah’s appointment is further evidence of our commitment to creating quality job opportunities in the local economy, and retaining the talent of our local universities.  As a university graduate we will be helping to nurture Sarah’s  clear academic talent whilst continuing to utilise her previous marketing and events experience. Sarah will undoubtedly be an asset to the team as we continue to grow our business, especially in the legal services sector.

Freshbaked PR, which works to provide public relations, marketing and media services to a diverse range of organisations, was set up in May 2008. Now consisting of five team members, the agency was named ‘Outstanding Small Consultancy of the Year’ at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations Cymru PRide Awards in 2009.  The agency is also the only Welsh based PR agency to be shortlisted for the national 2010 Fresh PR Awards.
