Children can become rock stars this Easter
Boulders Indoor Climbing Centre in Cardiff is putting an exhilarating twist on the usual egg hunt this Easter by challenging youngsters aged 7-13 to scale the dizzy heights of several of their indoor walls to gather chocolate treats.
The Easter ‘Boulder Dash’ will take place three times over the Easter weekend – Friday 10th, Sunday 12th, Monday 13th at 2pm – giving kids the chance to boulder, traverse and top-rope while seeing how many Easter eggs they can bag.
The world class climbing and fitness centre is also giving youngster the chance to become rock stars by completing seven specially chosen climbs out of the 2,000 square metres of climbing walls during the Junior Climbing Club.Running every week day of the Easter holidays (6th – 17th April), the Junior Climbing Club is open to climbers of all abilities.
Gwen Fryer of Boulders says: “Our events over Easter will offer parents an ideal way to keep the kids occupied. The junior clubs that we run in the school holidays are always popular as they’re a bit different from the norm and we’re confident that this Easter it will be no different.
“More and more people are enjoying the adventure and fitness facilities we have on offer at the centre and with the chance of bagging plenty of Easter eggs the ‘Boulder-dash’ and Climbing Club will undoubtedly be well attended.”
