Midas unveils its new HR super-team
Midas People Management, a human resources management consultancy, has unveiled its new `super-team` of associates, following the initial launch of the company earlier this year, as part of a joint venture between law firm M&A
The new team consists of multi-disciplined, experienced professionals from high profile companies and public sector organisations across Wales. Based in Cardiff, Midas People Management’s HR division has brought on board Brian Kultschar, Patricia Lewis, Patrick Kiely and John Powell.
Brian Kultschar, 55, joins the team with 30 years HR experience, much of which was served at the Principality Building Society where he was latterly director of HR. More recently he has been undertaking HR change management assignments in the public sector. Brian’s previous experience also includes HR roles at Yuasa Battery, British Tissues and Lucas Automotive. Brian is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (FCIPD).
Patricia Lewis, 56, joins the team with more than 25 years experience at senior HR level. Patricia, who has expertise in sectors including food, NHS and charities, has worked in unionised organisations as well as developing employee representative groups. Patricia’s career timeline also includes the post as HR director at Media Wales, followed by several senior level appointments, through to management consultancy. Patricia is a trustee of Tydfil Training, a Merthyr based charity working to “help people succeed” in employment and training, and also delivers employment start-up training for Venture Wales.
Patrick Kiely, previously headed the HR consultancy division at Acorn Recruitment. Patrick’s 35 years of experience also include stints at EADS Defence, Nortel Networks, AB Automotive, Panasonic and Standard Telephones & Cables Ltd. Patrick has a post graduate Diploma in Personnel Management and is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (FCIPD).
John Powell joins as a consultant, and he has worked with a range of clients in the public and private sectors. Prior to moving into consultancy he held a number of senior HR management posts within local government including Rhymney and Caerphilly Borough Councils. He has a MA in Law and Employment Relations and holds membership of a number of professional bodies.
The new teams’ task will be to accelerate the company’s growth as a leading provider of HR services to organisations throughout Wales and the UK, covering HR strategy, employee relations, HR mentoring and HR outsourcing. Midas People Management’s is also supported by M&A's legal team.
