Acityabode signs its first Bristol franchisee

Acityabode signs its first Bristol franchisee

Cardiff-based, luxury serviced accommodation provider, acityabode has established a franchise in Bristol, tapping into the South West's market's need for affordable, high specification accommodation.

Daniel Yeo-Smith and Luke Roberts, both 23 years of age from Cwmbran, have taken on acityabode’s first franchise.

Daniel, who has a background in marketing and Luke who specialised in sales, take on the franchise with a view of expanding the business and its profile throughout Bristol and the South West.

Acityabode, which ranked number 28 in this year’s Wales’ Hot 100 start-ups, now has several hundred apartments throughout Bristol, Ireland and south Wales, offering visitors to the cities and businesses a high-quality alternative to luxury hotel accommodation.

acityabode, the brainchild of Cardiff-born sister and brothers, Alex, 23, Ross, 27 and Paul Gazzard, 29 aims to become the largest provider of serviced accommodation in the UK with robust plans in place to generate further sustainable growth through its brand, people and product.

Commenting on the decision to franchise the business, Paul Gazzard said: "Our agreement to establish a franchise in Bristol further indicates the value and recognition of the acityabode brand beyond Wales and Northern Ireland. We will continue to strategically add to the acityabode franchise programme nationally as we accelerate our business across the UK.”

Daniel Yeo-Smith said: “Like Paul, Alex and Ross, we too saw a niche in the market for affordable, high specification accommodation as an alternative to hotels, in the south west. The acityabode model suited us perfectly in terms of its ambitions and goals. We look forward to becoming part of an established, UK wide brand in the near future.”

Luke Roberts added: “'We're delighted to have taken on this vibrant serviced accommodation franchise and are keen to spread the word about acityabode throughout south west England.'
