Tenison confirmed as guest speaker at New Start Wales
Laura Tenison, MBE, the founder and managing director of JoJo Maman Bebe, has been confirmed as a guest speaker at the New Start Wales Exhibition which is being held in Cardiff later this month.
Tenison will be joined by a range of successful entrepreneurs and business advisors to share the secrets of their business success with aspiring entrepreneurs and young businesses, as well as advice on keeping expenses to a minimum in order to beat the affects of the recession.
One of the UK’s largest business support events, the New Start Wales exhibition is being held at the Cardiff International Arena on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th November.
Having been successfully hosted in Scotland for the last six years, the event now comes to Wales, in the hope of encouraging development and progression amongst the Welsh business community
With over 120 exhibitors and over 50 seminars and workshops, the exhibition will provide direct access to real and practical support from industry professionals at a time when start-up and young businesses may be finding it difficult to grow their businesses in the difficult economic environment.
Joining Tenison are business experts from BT Telecommunications and IT, NatWest and the UK Intellectual Property office, as well as investment guru Ron Peterson of Longbow Capital who has spent over twenty years specialising in turning underperforming or early stage companies into profitable and valued concerns.
Event organiser Ceri Rogers said: “We are confident that the professionals invited to speak at the exhibition will attract guests from both startup companies to more well established businesses. The seminars will help bring together like-minded businessmen and women and offer them an un-rivaled opportunity to receive first hand advice from some of the UK’s leading business professionals.
“Together we hope that the guidance given by our speakers will ensure that those individuals contemplating setting up their own business in Wales leave us with all of the ingredients, and indeed enthusiasm, that they require to do so, while those already at the centre of Welsh business and commerce will depart with a better knowledge of the do’s and don’ts of maintaining and developing their own business in these difficult times.”
The exhibition is free to attend and for more information contact 0800 634 3400 or visit www.newstartwales.com
