Printing equipment company invests in new appointments

Wales's largest independent supplier of office printing equipment and document management solutions, Danwood Wales has strengthened its team with the appointment of two new members of staff.

Robert Swallow, 48 from Llanidloes joins the company as a print solutions consultant and Mark Hooper, 52, from Newport joins as a Commercial Account Manager as the company looks to continue to establish itself within the Welsh market.

Having previously worked for Ricoh in Sydney, Robert joins the company with over 15 years of experience within the printing sector. In his new role Robert will be predominantly responsible for further developing business specifically in Powys and Gwent regions.

Mark joins Danwood Wales having previously worked for Xerox concessionaire as a Sales Director, Mark brings with him a wealth of industry knowledge and will be responsible for increasing Danwood Wales’ market share of the printing sector in south Wales, focusing on tackling previously untapped markets and sectors.

On his appointment, Robert said: “The Danwood Group is a nationally recognised brand and I am delighted to be joining the Danwood Wales arm of the group as it looks to further strengthen its offering as a leading supplier of office printing equipment in south Wales.

Part of the Danwood Group, Danwood Wales was formed in 2009 through the acquisitions of Cardiff-based Algebra and Bridgend-based Photostatic that collectively have over 38 years experience in the print industry.
