Biotec makes significant appointment to management team
Bridgend-based pharmaceutical services company, Biotec Services International, has appointed a new head of project management to its team.
Amanda Furnell, 37, joins the business with more than 13 years experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry and an MSc in clinical research from Cardiff University.
Now head of project management at Biotec Services International, Ms Furnell will be responsible for managing the import, qualified person certification, labelling, packaging, storage and worldwide distribution of materials for use in clinical trials and commercial supply.
On her appointment, Ms Furnell said: “This is an exciting opportunity to join a company which is very much a leader in its field. I look forward to further developing my role within the industry and am confident that my experience in working with a diverse range of pharmaceutical clients on an international level will serve as a real benefit to Biotec”.
As head of project management, Ms Furnell will lead the team of experienced individuals as they cater to the needs of clients all over the world.
