Six Sigma Green Belt Programme
Overview:
Six sigma has been hailed as one of the most powerful business performance tools, ever. The phrase was coined by Motorola in the 1980s to describe the company's approach to refining and improving all key production and business processes. The Six Sigma approach enabled Motorola to achieve very high levels of process capability.
The results? A radical elimination of business and process costs resulting in massive increases in profitability. Since then, the Six Sigma approach has been sweeping the business worlf transforming the way businesses operate.
Objectives:
The training occurs in two blocks of four days separated by four weeks to enable progression of the candidate's projects. Project mentoring support is also provided. Training is extremely interactive and candidates are expected to contribute to discussions and share their own experiences throughout the training.
This Six Sigma Green Belt programme is focused on team members understanding and applying the Define Measure Analyse Improve and Control model- the foundation of all Six Sigma projects. Delegates attending will have a choice of working on manufacturing or service based case studies throughout the training programme.
