Cardiff lawyer shortlisted in national awards
Andrew Campbell, Head of Motorcycle Claims at New Law Solicitors LLP, has been named as one of three finalists in the category of Personal Injury Lawyer of the Year (Claimant) as part of the Personal Injury Awards 2008.
The new national awards scheme is aimed at raising standards and recognising excellence within the personal injury sector.
The Awards will bring together the most talented professionals working in the field at the Café Royal, London, on Tuesday 4th November where the winners will be announced.
Campbell has beaten tough competition from around the UK to make it to the final three as according to the event's organisers “all entrants were of very high quality".
The Personal Injury Lawyer of the Year (Claimant) category required entrants to demonstrate outstanding client care, good communication with other parties to claims, involvement in precedent-setting decisions, recognition from other lawyers, leadership within the profession and a willingness to take on challenging cases or issues in a proportionate and principled manner.
On being shortlisted Andrew said: “I’m delighted to be through to the final and it’s a real honour to be shortlisted with such highly regarded and well known lawyers. Everyone is looking forward to the awards ceremony later this year.”
Andrew Campbell, widely considered to be the UK's leading motorcycle accident injury lawyer, is a Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and columnist to leading weekly publication Motorcycle News (MCN).
Last year he was a finalist in the British Legal Awards, the Lawyer Awards and the Law Society Excellence Awards, contests open to the whole legal profession, not just the field of personal injury law.
