Newly baked division for Cardiff business
One of Wales’ fastest growing business services providers, freshbaked™ Group, has added another string to its bow with the creation of a new PR division.
freshbaked™ PR will sit alongside the Group’s four other divisions – freshbaked™ Training, freshbaked™ Business, freshbaked™ Corporate and freshbaked™ Communications – to offer a range of media and marketing solutions to organisations across south Wales.
Jonathan Hollins, 38, from Newport has been appointed managing director of the new arm bringing with him a wealth of experience in the PR and marketing industry having worked for leading organisations including Lloyds TSB Insurance and the former Welsh Development Agency. Having created a number of award winning campaigns for organisations across Wales, he is keen to provide new clients with a unique and vibrant approach to publicity.
Says Jonathan: “South Wales has a dynamic PR industry with many organisations utilising the Welsh media as a key part of their marketing plans. freshbaked™ PR will be encouraging their clients to step forward and make a statement. We want our clients to communicate with style and panache, and proactively drive agendas and comment on the issues of the day.”
Working alongside Jonathan is senior account manager, Lyndsey Jenkins, 26, from Cowbridge who joins from another local consultancy. A member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), Lyndsey graduated with a degree in Law from Cardiff University before completing the CIPR’s advanced certificate in public relations. Lyndsey will be working on a number of key accounts including Total Sport Management, Newport Chamber of Trade and freshbaked™ Group internal communications.
Cardiff-based freshbaked™ has experienced tremendous growth within the services sector since being established by husband and wife team Richard and Kate Matthews in 2004 and now works with over 150 clients, including leading names such as Admiral and Picture Financial.
