Level 2 Award in Team Leading
Overview:
The Award is designed to give individuals an understanding of the various roles and responsibilities of a team leader. This qualification is suitable for individuals who are either new to the role of team leading or who are currently team leaders who wish to gain a formal understanding of the roles and responsibilities.
Objectives:
The Award consists of an induction, one mandatory unit with a credit value of 1 and selected optional unit(s) with a minimum total credit value of 2.
The whole programme will take a minimum of 22 hours, plus time for assessment, to provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to perform effectively.
Structure and Content
- Minimum of 3 credits
- Induction - one hour
- Tutorial support - one hour
- One mandatory unit, credit value 1
- Selected optional unit(s) with a minimum total credit value of 2
Assessment
- Manadtory unit is assessed through a reflective review
- Optional unit(s) - dependent on the unit(s) undertaken, a choice of reflective reviews, oral briefings, case studies, short answer questions, work-based assignments
