Level 5 Award in Management
Overview:
The Award is a structured qualification allowing individuals to develop basic middle management skills and knowledge. Individuals who undertake the Award will either be practising or aspiring middle managers.
Objectives:
The Award consists of an induction, one mandatory unit with a credit value of 4 and optional units with a total credit value of 6.
The whole programme will take a minimum of 45 hours, plus time for assessment, to provide you with middle management knowledge and skills.
Structure and Content
- Minimum of 10 credits
- Induction - one hour
- Tutorial support - two hours
- One mandatory unit with a credit value of 4
- Selected optional units with a minimum total credit value of 6
Assessment
- Work based assignment
- Dependent on the optional units selected there is choice of assessments: work based assignments, reflective reviews, oral presentations or written reports
