At freshbaked™ we are an accredited provider and test center for the European Computer Driving Licence® (ECDL). We offer flexible and practical training solutions enabling you to undertake training and testing at your own pace. ECDL delivery takes place at our training centre in Cardiff and equally can be delivered on site at your own premises for groups – we bring all equipment with us!

ECDL Overview

ECDL is the internationally recognised qualification which enables people to demonstrate their competence in computer skills. The record breaking ECDL is the fastest growing IT user qualification in over 125 countries.

ECDL is designed specifically for those who wish to gain a benchmark qualification in computing to enable them to develop their IT skills and enhance their career prospects. Although no prior knowledge of computer applications is necessary, Keyboard and Mouse experience is useful.

How the ECDL works

The ECDL syllabus is designed to cover the key concepts of computing, its practical applications and their use in the workplace and society. It is broken down into seven modules, each of which must be passed before an ECDL certificate is awarded.

Once a candidate is registered at freshbaked™, a logbook listing all 7 modules is issued. The modules may be taken in any order and over any period of time (up to three years) - even all at once - offering maximum flexibility. When all 7 modules have been successfully passed, the logbook is exchanged for a certificate and credit card.
